[ She can't help but sigh, however; just a little bit. ] I hate feeling useless, though. I don't want to just sit around and do nothing and pretend that everything's normal when it's not!!

Well, we don't really have a choice, do we? At the end of the day, this stuff's gonna happen no matter how much you whine about it.

[ There's some saying about having the wisdom to know the difference between the things you can change and the things you can't... and Kotone knows where this one falls. If things change, it certainly won't be because of something two powerless girls did. ]

I don't pretend that everything's normal, but I make sure to enjoy the fun parts of life while they're still happening. I'm not going to let them win by taking that away from me.

[ Mio's voice is quiet; while she may be smart in certain areas, there's just some areas where she becomes an idiot. Maybe that's because she's just frustrated and needs to take out some steam, but...

I mean, I'm not saying that you shouldn't have fun. There's no way I'd want to prevent that, you know? I just want to find a way to be less useless so I can keep having fun. And others, too. ☆

[ She didn't really expect to change her sister's mind, anyway. Mio's priority has always been Mio; that's why she felt the need to advocate for everyone else, but she knows a losing battle when she sees one. So she'll just shrug. ]
